How the bank is organised — from the General Body of members to the Board of Directors, the executive management and the branch network.

The co-operative structure

As a co-operative bank, the ultimate authority rests with the General Body of members. The General Body elects the Board of Directors, which frames policy and oversees the affairs of the bank. Day-to-day administration is carried out by the General Manager and the executive team at the Head Office, supported by branch managers and staff across the branch network.

Levels of the organisation

Level	Role
General Body	All members of the bank; the supreme authority under the bye-laws.
Board of Directors	Elected by the members; frames policy and exercises oversight.
Chairperson / Vice-Chairperson	Preside over the Board and the General Body.
General Manager	Chief executive officer of the bank; conducts day-to-day operations.
Head Office departments	Deposits, advances, accounts, inspection, audit and administration.
Branches	Branch managers and staff serving members and customers directly.
